This form is divided into three sections. Select the fields you want to edit and make your changes – all updates are saved instantly. Use the Tab key to quickly move to the next field and speed up data entry.

The side menu is displayed on the right side of the screen.

Organisation

Change the owner of an object by selecting an organization from the drop-down list.

Download PDF

Download a PDF file of the currently displayed object. It can be used for sharing or keeping a local copy for offline access.

QR-Code

The QR code provides direct access to the selected object. Scanning it with a mobile device opens the content immediately, with no login or app navigation required.

By clicking it a QR code will appear on the screen along with the URL and various formats to download.

An object can be displayed via QR code only if it is added to a publicly accessible group. To learn how to make a group public, see the “Change visibility” section.

Duplicate object

Create a copy of the same object.

One reason to copy an object is when multiple items share common attributes. This way, you only need to adjust the differences, saving you from re-entering all the data.

Delete

Remove an object.

Add groups

Select the group to add the object to. You can add an object to multiple groups.

To remove an object from a group, click the "x" next to the group name.

You must have at least one group created to add an object to a group.

Pictures, Videos and Documents

To attach a file to an object, click “Add file”. Then a window will appear with a "Select file" button. Choose the file from your computer and click "Open" to save it. You can repeat this step if you want to upload more files.

The type of files attached to an object can be divided into three categories: images, videos, or documents.

Add file

This option allows you to import new files.

To add another file, click the "+" icon and select the desired file from your computer.

Main picture

When the object contains multiple files, use this option to highlight a specific file. The highlighted file will appear first in the object preview.

To highlight a file, click the star icon.

Rotate image

This feature allows you to change the orientation of the image.

Click the arrow to rotate the image by 90°.

Download

This feature allows you to export a file from Collectr to your local device.

Click the icon to download the file.

File metadata

To add metadata, select the list icon to display the metadata form. Once the form is displayed, fill in the necessary information.

Delete

To delete a file, click the “x” icon.

Zoom in and out

These functions allow you to adjust the scale of the image view.

To enlarge the view, move the pointer on the scale bar towards the "+" sign.

To minimize the view, move the pointer on the scale bar towards the "-" sign.

Object linking

This function allows you to link items. Linking is the process of creating relations between elements.

Click the button to link an object to another element. Once clicked, more options will appear in the form, allowing you to select an item from the available list. Use filters to narrow it down if needed. The created link will be displayed below the linking option.
